At MotionLab, we believe that learning about health and nutrition should be engaging, practical, and fun. That's why we've created an event that combines education, social interaction, and great food in a relaxed outdoor setting.
During this experience, participants will explore where food comes from, learn about healthy nutrition, and participate in interactive activities that encourage teamwork.

Quick overview of the day
The petting zoo
The day starts with a visit to Speelboerderij Elsenhove, where participants can meet a variety of farm animals and learn more about the origins of the food we eat every day. The visit encourages participants to consider food production and healthy eating habits in an interactive environment.
The lunch
After the zoo visit, participants will travel to the nearby forest for a healthy outdoor brunch. The brunch will feature authentic Italian sandwiches from Wake N' Bake Amsterdam, prepared with fresh ingredients and served alongside locally roasted coffee. The relaxed outdoor setting provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy good food, connect with fellow students, and take in the natural surroundings.
The quiz
To finish the event, students will participate in an interactive team quiz based on sports, nutrition, and facts learned throughout the year. Working together, teams will compete for prizes while testing their knowledge in a fun and competitive atmosphere.

11:30 – 12:00 | Travel to Brunch Location
Participants travel to the nearby forest, where the rest of the event takes place.
12:00 – 13:10 | Healthy Brunch
Enjoy fresh sandwiches, locally roasted coffee, and time to socialize with fellow students.
13:10 – 13:30 | Meal Prep Demonstration
Learn practical tips for preparing simple, healthy meals that can easily be incorporated into everyday life.
13:30 – 14:15 | Interactive Quiz
Compete in teams and test your knowledge of sports, nutrition, and information shared during the event.
14:15 – 14:30 | Nutrition Talk
A short presentation on healthy nutrition and the role it plays in maintaining an active lifestyle.
14:30 – 15:00 | Final Round & Prize Ceremony
The highest-scoring teams compete for the top prizes before the event officially concludes.

Location
How to Get There:
Bus: Take bus 199, 300, or 357 to Amstelveen, Sacharovlaan. From there, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the petting zoo.
Bike: The location is easily accessible by bicycle and offers plenty of bike parking spaces near the entrance.
Car: Free parking is available directly next to the venue.
